Here she is-the most beautiful girl in the world. She was a week late, I was induced, in labor for 17 hours so I had to have a c-section. She weighed 9 lbs 7 oz. if you can believe that. The 2nd picture she is under billi lights because she was a bit jaundiced. She is amazing- didn't know i could love someone like i love her!!!!!

Well we put Lexie down for the night last night. She has been doing better and better as the days go by. She didn't bark at all last night. We were so proud, until we found out why. Jon came down in the morning to let her out and give her breakfast and I hear, "Michelle, Lexie is not in her cage." I come down stairs, call her name, and there she is staring at us from the family room. Somehow she got down the stairs (I think she probably rolled). Luckily our little darling did not use the bathroom, to our knowledge, anywhere except her cage. She has already learned sit and shake and is working on stay. She is a very good puppy. We love her so much. As for me and my pregnancy, everything is going smoothly. I go for a doctor's appointment today. Only 2 weeks from today to go.

What a cutie. What are we going to do when there are two babies in the house?!?! She is very loving and does not want to stray far from one of us. When she sleeps, she has to be touching one of us. We love her to death! She almost fell down the stairs for the first time today because she would not listen to mommy when I said "Lexie don't bite the gate" the gate fell over with her on it. She will learn... I hope! :)

The newest addition to the Dalton family. Lyndie's big sister-Lexie. She is the most beautiful yellow lab. She is only a few weeks old so she still needs her mommy. We get her in 2 weeks. This is Jon's very first dog, so he is very excited.

Not even born and this girl has a ton of clothes! People love to shop, including me, for her what can I say. She now has 10 pair of shoes. Oh and I haven't even had my baby shower yet!
This dresser is also full of her clothes already!

Here she is!!! Yes, we finally have our internet back. I got these pictures from January and wanted you all to see. It was so much fun watching her move around inside of me. The first picture is her little feet. The second is her sucking her thumb (we think) The third she is waving at the camera, and the fourth I'm sure you can figure out on your own. I have 3 1/2 months left to go. I'm glad I get to share this with all of you I rarely see. Miss you all.

Sorry we have not been very faithful to the blog. Our internet is still not with us at home. I want to put some new ultrasound pictures up whenever we get it back. Everything is going great here. The little one is getting bigger everyday. She is kicking hard. It is fun to watch her kicking! She is sure active. Can't wait to see and hold her for the first time!!!

Jon and I went to the doctor's on Friday. We found out that we are going to have a cute little girl. We are sooo excited. She was very healthy and bouncing around everywhere! We can't wait until she arrives.

Sorry it has been forever and a day since my last post. Our internet has had some technical difficulties-it does not work!!! All is well here in Waterford. We are about to end our Christmas break and I am two weeks away from finding out what I will be having -girl or boy. I will post it (if I can) as soon as I find out. Hope everyone had a happy new year.

One of the most exciting days of my life was Monday the 17th! Jon and I got to see our little one for the first time!!! If you look at the big, black blob at the top-JR is the little white blob resting on the bottom of the black whole. We got to see its little heart beating and it also kind of did a little jump where we could see a little arm. We were so excited. That was all I could think about for the rest of the day! I can't believe I'm going to be a mom.

If you heard the rumor, it is true! Jon and I are expecting a baby! We are incredibly excited! The due date is June 15, which seems forever away! Pray for us as we start a whole new chapter in our lives!

Well... school has officially started. We are in our third week. This is very much a different kind of year for me (Michelle) I only teach 5th and 6th grade this year instead of 3 grades, but I do have a few challenges. I know that in God's time the problems will smooth out though. We just found out today that we are going to have another nephew. Kristi and Glen are expecting a boy in February. We are so excited for them both... oh and Karlie too! Hope to hear from somebody sometime. No one seems to like to write on our blog very much. Let us know if anybody is even looking at this thing.

Our first stop for the week was Philadelphia. We stopped at Independence Hall and saw the Liberty Bell. We loved the cute little village set right in the middle of the hectic city of Philadelphia. It was like going back in time in America.

Vacation!!!

Here we come New York City. Jon surprised me with a week vacation to Philadelphia/New York. We leave Sunday night, August 10. I am so so excited. We plan on going to every tourist sight-I want to see it all! I will definitely be taking a gazillion pictures and videos so after that week be sure to get back on our blog-there will be a lot to see. It's one last hoorah before the doom of school starts up again. Until then, or maybe a bit sooner...

Our 2 year anniversary

Jon and I celebrated our 2nd anniversary by going to the driving range, a little bowling, and going out to eat. This short video that you are about to watch is devoted to my father, Don Mann, who taught me everything I know about golf. My great skills are all because of his superior coaching. Thanks dad. I am sure I make you very proud.

Jon and I almost finished our new laminate flooring. We did it all by ourselves. We just need to finish the trimming. During the process, we gained a new friend (below). This is her third time visiting our backyard, at least that I have seen. She doesn't seem to be very shy to humans-she let me walk pretty close to her and never ran away.

Jon and I went up to my Grandparent's cottage with the whole family for a few days. We ate a lot of food, got a lot of sun, and had a lot of fun! Jon had a great time kayaking. You will have to ask him about that one though-it will be a memory he will never forget!

Go Tigers

Jon took me out to a Tigers game. We had a blast-Jon was two inches away from catching a fly ball and I got beer spilled on my head! Woo-hoo! Go Tigers! They lost by four but it was still fun!

Teen Camp

Jon and I were able to go to camp with our teens. This year we were able to join Jordan Baptist, Sheradin Road, and Lewis Avenue. We had a great time catching up. Here are a few pictures and there are more to come. Jon got to play a lot of ball with his brother, Adam, PASTOR Hobbins, and a lot of StateLine teens.

Kristi and I really enjoyed being with our teen girls. We both had a lot of fun!
